First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you who visit our web site, and hope this will be a good opportunity to get more intimate with us. 32 years have passed since Metia was incorporated in June 1973 and committed to produce castings for auto parts.
We are specialized in producing casting parts which are fundamental to auto industry, the whole of industrial technology. I dare to say that we are the first specialized foundry in Korea and have excellent ability and quality comparing with other foundries in the world. This confidence stems from our substantial technology and labor-management cooperation and harmony.
We have the capacity of 120,000 tons a year, which is the greatest in Korea's casting manufactures for autos. Currently, we supply vital casting parts such as crank shafts, steering knuckles, calipers and caliper housings to domestic customers, and export to USA, Japan and U.K. We acquired ISO-9002 quality system certificate in 1994 and QS-9000 for the first time in the field of castings in 1998. This demonstrates the superiority of technology and quality.
